           - Cost lists and systems 
           - Indirect costs allocation

• Cost analysis for short term decision making: 

          - Concepts of direct costs and contribution analysis in decision making
          - Relation of various cost types to Pricing and taking decisions on production mix
          - Profitability management in the short term
          - Balance between short and long term decisions

• Cost analysis for strategic decision making: 

         - Effect of using incorrect or useless cost data on taking strategic decisions

• Introduction to cost systems based on activities and their use

          - Activity-based management

• Modern cost systems:

           - Costs management using continuous improvement (Japanese experience) Kaizen costing 
           - JIT systems

• Cost analysis for control purposes: 

           - Control over cost elements preparation
           - Processing damaged materials
           - Production control
           - Processing damaged production units
