AMMAN – Abu-Ghazaleh Academy for Capacity Buildings (TAG-Academy), a subsidiary of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has organized a First Aid training workshop for its employees, in collaboration with the specialized trainer and expert in occupational safety Mr. Mohammad Shoman. 

The workshop signifies TAG.Global’s keenness in training its employees in the area of protection and public safety; in addition to the Organization’s objectives in developing and building capacities in various professional and practical fields.

TAG-Academy Executive Director, Mr. Yousef Al-Rawas, emphasized that TAG-Academy constantly organizes different courses and workshops in the public safety fields for its employees and external participants, based on its eagerness to provide participants with scientific and practical knowledge based on the latest up-to-date information in public safety and occupational health.

He also expressed commitment to sharpening the employees’ skills and providing them with the latest methods and processes in risk management and accident prevention in order to optimize performance in a positive work environment, while reducing chances of contracting contagious diseases such as Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Al-Rawas also added that the workshop included a number of important topics such as the definition and application of first aid; dealing for example with cases of loss of consciousness, firefighting, electric shocks, suffocation and COVID-19 cases.
